Jeremy Durrand Davis was born November 17, 1986, in Chesterfield, MO to Clarence (Jin) Davis and the late Mary Elizabeth Davis (Williams), he departed this earthly life on December 11, 2023, in Austin, TX surrounded by his family. Jeremy gave his life to Christ at the age of 18 on a youth trip with Lafayette Church of Christ.
At an early age Mary and Clarence realized Jeremy's full potential and made it their mission to ensure that he had the best environment and education to allow him to flourish and succeed. They enrolled Jeremy in MICDS to enhance his educational experience. After a few years of attendance, Jeremy's love for his friends and desire for a sense of community that matched his passion led him to return to Rockwood School District. During that time, he was a scholar athlete at Marquette High School and continued to excel academically earning an academic scholarship to Truman State University where he also played football. Whenever anyone would talk about Jeremy's academic ability, everyone said, he scored an 32 on his ACT with his eyes closed and never had to study as hard as we did. He was always referred to as the smartest man I know. Ultimately, Jeremy decided to return to St. Louis to pursue his true passion, Entrepreneurship. It was perfect timing, Jeremy was able to help mold and shape his nephew, Rashon. Spending summers, evenings and weekends caring for him in his own special way; knee football, squats and many days giving him the tools to be the man he is today. Not only was he a phenomenal male influence in Rashon's life, but he was also blessed to care for Devin, Layla and Alyssa as young children. He often stepped in to get them ready for school, take them to games and events and they will never forget the "quiet game". He was the epitome of the best uncle. He loved them with all of his heart and was always providing them with so much wisdom, guidance and tough love.
As he began to become ingrained in the fitness community in St. Louis, he made so many friends that became family, but the most pivotal time was at Club Fitness where he met the love of his life, Morgan. He was determined to make her "like'' him. Not only did she like him, Jeremy and Morgan were married on August 5, 2017. Jeremy and Morgan's marriage flourished, only months later they made the decision to build upon their foundation, passion for fitness and Jeremy's entrepreneurial spirit, and move to Austin, TX in 2018 to open their own boutique gym, TruFusion, which is the most successful and profitable gym in the Trufusion franchise. Over the years they grew so much and touched so many people in Austin as their TruFam came together. Jeremy never stopped trying to explore ways to expand his full potential, he joined his High School classmates and began to consult and open additional gyms in the Austin area in 2022. Having established a firm foundation, Jeremy and Morgan decided that it was time to grow this amazing family and they are expecting Jeremy's first and only daughter, Maia Roby Davis in May of 2024. Jeremy was loving, kind, generous, caring and most of all determined and purpose driven. Jeremy started each day with his list and white board, and by any means necessary everything and everyone would be taken care of before he closed his eyes to rest.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Elizabeth Davis, grandmothers, Mary Francis Williams, Leila Mae McFarland and Lucille Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Morgan Davis (Callender), his father Clarence (Jincai) Davis, sister's Frances (Brandon) Davis-Williams, Ykama (John Wilson), his grandfather, Bartow Williams, Sr., his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Robin Callender, brother-in-law, Garrett (Leah) Callender, nephews, Rashon Davis, Devin Wilson and Ozzy Callender, nieces Layla and Alyssa Wilson and Chayse Williams and his loving favorite fur babies, LuLu and Leo. He will not only be missed by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, Jeremy's heart was so full of love that he has far too many friends, family colleagues and other acquaintances to mention.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at Freedom Home Baptist Church, 3405 Oaksprings Drive, Austin, Texas. I have many fond memories of Jeremy. I am embracing everyone with love and support during this difficult time. I will always remember the love he poured into those around him. He was a go getter, a good friend and a great mentor. I am completely heartbroken.

My first time meeting Jeremy: I walked into Club Fitness (Creve Coeur, MO). Walked up to front desk and said I would like a personal trainer. Jeremy stepped up and said "I´ll do it." And we were friends ever since.

Whenever I said I wanted to do a back day, he would huff , give me trouble and say it was boring and that I don´t need a PT for working out my back. I should just come in and start pulling on stuff. Makes me chuckle thinking about that.

Jeremy was one of the few people I put in the "perfect" category. Never said anything bad about anyone, handled everything "perfectly." That´s why he was such a good manager/leader. I could only wish my emotional intelligence was as good as his.
While I will miss you, I´ll still strive to be like you.
Rest easy.

Jeremy and Steve would come into the pub downtown from time to time for soccer games. The two of them were such an awesome, funny, and pleasant duo. I know Jeremy will be missed terribly by anyone that ever had the opportunity to meet him, and the entire Pub staff sends their condolences.
