With his passing he leaves behind his children, Kason (Stefani) Mangum, Karly (Ben) Hulet, his grandchildren Korbee, Ketch, and a baby girl that will be arriving soon, his father Steven (Karen) Mangum, sisters Karie Simon, Terie (Brad) Simcox and brother Christopher "Chipper" (Randi) Mangum and his nieces and nephews.
Scott is proceeded in death by his mum Sharron Ann Barker Mangum.
There will be a celebration of life in his honor on Thursday September 21st from 6pm – 8pm at the Southern Utah Mortuary. Come and share all your stories and memories. You know he would want it to be a party.

Scott, better known as Scotty, like from Star Trek, grew up on the street behind me. Close by was a dirt bike trail that ran along the freeway from 200 South to the freeway overpass going up Leigh Hill. While riding one day I stopped and was showing him my honda trail 70. I wanted to show off. I revved the engine and kicked it in gear to pop a wheelie. I drove right over him. Gave him stitches. I was in big trouble. This is probably one of my first memories of Scott. He and his family were such great friends in our neighborhood. I am happy call him a friend.
