Janice Jones Webster Passed away peacefully August 12th, 2025, accompanied by her husband Mark Eldon Webster.

Janice was our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was born in Cedar City, Utah on February 12th, 1937.

She had a full life and had many wonderful talents including singing, playing piano, sewing and homemaking.

Janice supported her husband throughout his education and professional life and had a successful career of her own that included being a bank teller, real estate agent and insurance broker. She loved being a homemaker and instilled the value of hard work in her children.

She and Mark fulfilled their long-time love of travel and have been to many countries and throughout the US. They shared this love with all their children, exposing them to many different cultures, experiences and foods.

Mark and Janice built a life together, ran a business together, raised a family together and spent Janice's last days together.

Janice is survived by her loving husband and partner, Mark Eldon Webster, her six children; Janelle (David) Howell, Nancy (Marvin) Harris, Kristine (Mike) Stears, Melanie (Wayne) Melling, Mark (Heidi) Webster and Brent Webster, seventeen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.

Janice is preceded in death by her mother, Rua Chamberlain Jones, father Ivor Davenport Jones, sister Aurella Mathews, brother Lorin C. Jones, grandchildren Margaret Howell, Carolyn Howell

A viewing will be held Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the SUU Married Student Stake Center (520 S 1100 W, Cedar City, UT, 84720) from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Funeral services will follow at 11am. Janice will then be interred at the Cedar City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. To share online condolences, please visit www.mortuary.org.
