Graduating from Northridge High School, Jeremy was known for his spirited participation in sports, leaving behind a legacy of athletic accomplishments. His passion for sports continued throughout his childhood and teenage years. Baseball and soccer were not just pastimes for Jeremy; they were avenues through which he connected with his community and shared joyful moments with friends and family.
Jeremy is lovingly remembered by his father, Robert L. Perkey Jr., and his mother, Donita D. (Cripe) Slack, and his stepdad; Robert K. Slack who provided him with a foundation of love and support that he extended to his own children. The proud father of Bailey Perkey of Elkhart, IN, Dylan Perkey of South Haven, MI, and Caleb Perkey of Niles, MI, Jeremy's greatest pride was in his role as a parent.
Jeremy's joyful spirit permeates the memories of his grandchild, Lilianna, who will carry forward his legacy of kindness and compassion. His siblings, Matthew (Tamara) Perkey of Goshen, IN, and Kari (Rick) Howie of Elkhart, IN, will forever remember their brother as a beacon of love, laughter, and support within their lives. Also, survived by two nephews; Camden and Luca Perkey and one niece; Madison Perkey.
Thoughtfully referred to by those who loved him as loyal, generous, and spirited, Jeremy's absence will be deeply felt by many. However, his legacy will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched, in the laughter at family gatherings.
Jeremy will be laid to rest at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens where there will be a private graveside service. Palmer Funeral Home – Welsheimer North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Tourette Association of Indiana or the Dystonia Foundation.

Jeremy is SO missed here at Majestic Care. When I first met him, he would come to my desk and ask me to go down the staff hall and buy pop from the machine for him like 3 times a day. I wanted to be annoyed but he always asked so nicely!
Truly kind to everyone here, whether it be giving someone a cigarette who didn´t have any, or his kind words. Always keeping the days interesting with his antics. Such a bold and bright personality, things certainly are not, and won´t be the same without him.

Jeremy was a bundle of love kind to people he knew and didn't know I am so heart sick not seeing him flying down the corridor day and night his mother was at his side until she turned him over to the Lord for his homecoming I wrote his mother a prayer she is such a loving mother thank you mom for getting us a chance to know your son FROM ROBERT CREW AT MAJESTIC
