"A Korean War veteran has passed away today." Jerome, you failed to make your battle stations during general quarters. You are now relieved from your watch. A job well done fellow navy veteran and mason. We all are grateful for your stepping up to the plate when your country needed you the most. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. The carrier has turned into the wind preparing for your final departure. The plank is in place and honor guards are stationed. The final volley has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Smooth sailing shipmate. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
