Loris….. Jerome Carl Burroughs, age 85, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025. Mr. Burroughs was born in Loris, South Carolina, a son of the late Carl Edison and Reba Letha Fowler Burroughs. He was the owner and operator of Burroughs Sprayer Manufacturing in Loris. Mr. Burroughs was a member of Living Water Baptist Church where he was a past member of the church's missions teams. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Audie Jerome Burroughs, two brothers, Dale Burroughs and Bernard Burroughs and a sister, Margery Burroughs Todd. Surviving are: his wife, Cassandra M. Burroughs of Loris, SC; one daughter, Sharon B. Porter (Richard C. Porter) of Loris, SC; one son, Glenn E. Burroughs (LeAnne) of North Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Chandus Jerome Porter (Candace), Audrey Burroughs Major (James) and Parker Glenn Burroughs (Destiny); five great grandchildren, Gavin Porter (Melanie), Luke Porter, Cooper Porter, Calum Burroughs, and James Major; three great great grandchildren, Liam Porter, Gavin C. Porter, Jr., and Elanie Porter. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday from Harrelson Cemetery with Rev. LeBron Crisp officiating.
