Jerome “Jerry” Coy Weedman, age 74 of Wautoma passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 5, 2024. He was born on September 24, 1949 in Tracy, MN to Luverne and Mary Weedman. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was later honorably discharged. He then attended UW-Oshkosh and earned an Associate’s Degree in Business/Finance. On December 27, 1980 he married Kathleen “Katie” Ann Hughes in Columbus, WI. Jerry was partial owner in Bruce Municipal and devoted a majority of his professional career to Sales. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, watching sporting events, traveling and enjoying the beautiful house and space they created.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife: Kathleen “Katie” Weedman; daughters: Kelly (Michael) Thoemke, Anna (Brian) Johnson; grandchildren: Cameron and Stella; cat: Bootsie and many other cherished family and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Joseph Coy Weedman; parents: Luverne and Mary Weedman; mother and father in-law: Thomas and Marjorie Hughes; brothers: Thomas Weedman and Michael Weedman; and sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Vinz.
Memorial Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 9AM until the time of services at 11AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to several organizations that are dear to him and his girls: The Lost Companion – Wild Rose, The Waushara County Animal Shelter, Waushara County EMS or Wautoma Area Fire Department.
