Jerome "Jerry" Felix LeBlanc, aged 59, passed away on November 17, 2023. He was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was born on December 18, 1963, to Donald Eli LeBlanc and Bernadette Mary St. Amant LeBlanc in Detroit, MI, where he spent his formative years. He went on to become a cardiovascular interventional technologist. One of his proudest accomplishments was starting a brand new interventional cardiology and specials program at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, WA. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
Most of all, Jerry was a devoted father, brother, and uncle. He loved spending time with his son Cole, fishing, skiing, and watching football. Cole and Jerry shared a bond that will never be broken. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced. Just ask Jerry about Cole and you could see him beam with pride, as with his nieces and nephews. Additionally, his nieces and nephews absolutely adored their Uncle Jerry!
In his free time, Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, cooking, and watching football (especially throwing shade at those Ohio State fans in his life! GO BLUE!). He was always eager to share his wisdom and enthusiasm with others. Jerry was also in the United States Army stationed in Germany.
Jerry is survived by his son, Jeffrey "Cole", Jamy LeBlanc, mother of Cole, his siblings Pamela LeBlanc, Patrick LeBlanc, Ralph (Brian) LeBlanc, Mary (Bill) Corbett, Joanne (Dave) LeBlanc. Nieces and nephews Bill (Liz) Bailey, Jennifer (Craig) Sower, Jesse LeBlanc, Bridgette (Michael) Bowdler, David Soltez, Sondra (Michael) Feibel, Aimee (Joe) Langston, Nicole LeBlanc, Robert Clemente, Maria Clemente, and several great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Eli and Bernadette Mary (St. Amant) LeBlanc, brothers Jeffrey LeBlanc, Paul LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc, and sister Susan LeBlanc.
Jerry's memory will be cherished by all who knew him. The viewing will be on Monday, December 4, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Purse Martinez Funeral Home, 210 W. Pottawatamie St., Tecumseh, MI 49286.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Holy Parish St. Mary Campus, 305 Division St. Adrian, MI 49221. Visitation will begin at 9:45 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow for family and close friends at Oakwood Cemetery, 333 East Siena Heights Drive, Adrian, MI 49221. A luncheon will be served following the Oakwood Cemetery comittal service at the St. Mary's Holy Parish Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to Cole LeBlanc for funeral expenses.
