Jerome Lee "Jerry" Weber, 71, of Freeburg, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, on his Century farm surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on August 2, 1954, in Jefferson City, the son of John G. and Theola Elizabeth (Johannesmeyer) Weber.
Jerry was a 1972 graduate of Fatima High School.
He was united in marriage on October 20, 1979, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, to Donna Massman, who survives at the home.
He loved hunting, fishing, and raising stock gilts and genetics. He started Osage Isowen Company in 1990 and with 27 producers raising pigs for over 20 plus years. He was well known for being the weather guy. He could cut and bale the hay before the rain; people would call him for weather advice.
He bought the family farm in 1974 from his parents. He started with only 10 gilts and no cattle. He built up the farm to what it is today, which supports two families. He took great pride in raising quality hogs and cattle.
Some of his favorite things in life were, Black Cows on Green Grass, baling haying (really fast), his farm dogs he had throughout the years, he took immense pride in having super clean tractors, especially the windows, liked eating fried chicken and fish.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; four children, Tyler (Emily) Weber, Freeburg, Cody (Tracy) Weber, Freeburg, Laine Morgan (Terry) Benson, Westphalia and Kim Gale, Kansas City; eight grandchildren, Trenton Weber, Trevor Weber, Landon Weber, Nate Weber, Jace Weber, T.J. Benson, Wyatt Benson and Ashlyn Gale; two siblings, Elmer (Viola) Weber, Jefferson and Linda (Danny) Falter, Freeburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Paul (Evelyn) Weber and a sister, Betty Weber.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Trimble Funeral Homes – Westphalia with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia with the Rev. Dylan Schrader, PhD, officiating.
Memorials are suggested to Westphalia Lions Club, Knights of Columbus or to Cooper Dorge Memorial.
