Jerry Randall Costilow, age 76, of Grenada, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital North Mississippi in Oxford. Graveside services are at 2 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2022, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Grenada with Bro. John Goldwater officiating. Pallbearers will be Toby Lemley, Scott Lemley, Gene Costilow, Jacob Arnold, Briley Lemley, Cody Festervand, and Jared Arnold.
Jerry was born on February 25, 1945 in Grenada, Mississippi and was the son of the late Paris Cole Costilow and Lorene Law Costilow.
Jerry was employed by Koppers Incorporated as a truck driver until his retirement. He was a member of Christ Community Church in Grenada and faithfully supported his church and Operation Christmas Child. Jerry was a veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy; and three brothers, Sidney, Charles, and Nealon.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Adams Costilow of Grenada; daughter, Amy Lemley Arnold of Grenada; sons, Scott Lemley of Grenada and Toby Lemley of Nashville; sister Dianne McClellan (Bruce) of Alexandria, Louisiana; brother, Gene Costilow (Frances) of Carrollton; six grandchildren, Ashton Arnold, Jared Arnold, Jacob Arnold, Briley Lemley, Grace Lemley, and Emily Glasser; two great-grandchildren, Parker Glasser and Elijah Lemley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Christ Community Church Operation Christmas Child.
