Jerry DeVall passed away peacefully at the Ernestine M Raclin House in Mishawaka, IN, on March 10, 2025, at the age of 72. Jerry left this earth to meet the love of his life, Kary DeVall, for their final ride together forever in the heavenly sky. Jerry married his firecracker, Kary, on July 4, 1998. Since the sparks flew from the minute the two met, it seemed only right that they would be married on the 4th of July.
Jerry left behind his loving children, Charles Polarek, Melissa Billings, Jody (Tom) Loring, Marcy (Bob) Nekvasil, Charlotte Hensell, and Bridgette (Stephen) Germann. He also left behind his 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jerry is also survived by his two caring sisters Jule (James) Pung and Nina Mcgraw.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Helen DeVall, and his siblings.
Jerry served in the military before beginning his career as a truck driver, which allowed him to travel to many places. Jerry loved motorcycle rides and rallies in his free time. He also loved eating out any chance he could, which was most meals. Jerry and Kary enjoyed motorcycle rides, sightseeing, and meeting their many friends for fun. After retirement, Jerry took care of his loving wife, Kary, for many years. The love the two shared for each other could be seen on their faces as they lit up every time they saw each other. Once he had more free time, Jerry started hanging with his buddies and built a custom trike for him to continue riding.
Jerry fought a long, hard battle and now gets to enjoy eternity free from pain with his forever love, Kary.
Until we meet again, fingers down!
In keeping with his wishes, no services are planned.
