It is with our heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Lee Drummond, age 82 of Eutaw, AL on March 19, 2025, at VA Hospice.
Jerry, the sixth of seven children, was born on July 27, 1942, in Eutaw. He went to basic training for National Guard right after high school in 1960. Soon after that he went to Shelton State to pursue his degree to become a barber in 1962.
Jerry had a passion for his family and many memories of fishing, being a barber and boy was he strong willed with the video recording. Anyone that knew Jerry knew he always had a story for everything.
Jerry is survived by his sons; Lee Drummond (Kim) of Gordo, Dennis Drummond (Leslie) of Eutaw, Cody Drummond (Kelley) of Niceville, FL, Michael Drummond (Cristy) of Moundville. Sister, Violet Clayton of Tuscaloosa. Grandchildren include Jessica Drummond, Jacob Drummond, Josh Drummond, Brittney Drummond, Colton Drummond and River Drummond, Joseph and Aaron Wilson, Jameson and Jackson Light. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Audrina and Jaxon Ryan and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; J.C. and Ida Drummond; brothers, Tommy Drummond, Bobby Drummond, Jesse "Duck" Drummond; sisters, Voncile Drummond, and Jeanette Drummond Phillips; grandsons, Timothy "Timmy" Drummond, David Northam and Lawson Drummond.
Pastor Phillip Blackwell will officiate, and graveside services will be held at Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw, AL on March 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Serving as honorary pallbearers, Mr. Ronnie Britton of Eutaw, John Clark of Eutaw and staff at VA Hospice.
