Jerry Enterkin Sr.

GREENFIELD – Jerry M. Enterkin Sr., age 82, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at his home. He was born in Muncie on October 19, 1940 to Lemuel David Enterkin and Wilma (Rawlings) Enterkin. Jerry graduated from Warren Central High School in 1958 and proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He married Rebecca (Brinson) Enterkin on October 21, 2010 in New Palestine. He retired from Hanger Bolt & Stud Company as vice president in Greenfield. Jerry was a member of many automotive clubs as well as the National Street Rod Association. He enjoyed his work, all things cars and loved spending time with his family.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Becky Enterkin; children, Randall (Roxann) Hornback, Chris (Amber) Michaels, Trevor (Kristy) Fortner, and Brandy Rooks; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brothers, Denny Enterkin and Joe Enterkin; and brother-in-law, Ronald Johnson. He was preceded in death by, Janet Enterkin; his parents, David and Wilma; son, Jerry Enterkin Jr.; daughters, Debra (Chris) Hornback and Sebrina Enterkin; and sister, Arline Johnson.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Carmin Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
