Jerry Lynn Huntsman

Jerry Lynn Huntsman, 78 of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on November 9, 2025. He was born to Harry Clayton Huntsman and Mildred Owen Saunders Huntsman on April 24, 1947, in the community of Mt. Pisgah.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Harry Wayne, Billy Joe, JC, and Bobby, one sister Velma Fleming, a stepdaughter, Audra Smith, and a step granddaughter, Chelsea Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Erma, who faithfully cared for him until he took his last breath. Also left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Dayna Huntsman, Shannon (Jason) Weaver, and Shelly (Steven) Benefield, one step son, Jeremy Smith, Stepdaughter, Amanda Smith, grandchildren, Caleb, Joseph, Camryn, Landyn, Emilee, Nathan, and Olivia, step grandchildren, Aleigha, Brooke, Jessie, Haylee, and Savannah, eight great grands, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is also survived by three sisters Marie Bland and Sandra Miller, both of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Jane Walton of Tomball, Texas.
Jerry was known for his love of peddling produce, and cedar woodworking, making birdhouses, chests and trophy shelves for his grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Powell Funeral Home of Searcy on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 9:00-11:00am with services beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
