Mr. Jerry L. Jessup, age 70, of Hillsville VA, left this earth and entered the presence of his Lord on Thursday, October 16, 2025. “I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.” 2 Tim 4:7. Jerry will be forever loved by his wife Jo as well as by his Father Junior Jessup, children Jonathan Jessup and Jennifer Sebranek, as well as other family members. At Jerry’s request there will not be any formal services. If you wish to honor him, please consider a donation to the Hillsville Presbyterian Church Food Pantry (172 South Main Street, Hillsville, VA 24343). Jerry always had a servant’s heart that was reflected in his many years of community service. In his later years, Jerry found great joy in the church and in serving the community through the Food Pantry mission. As you remember Jerry, play the song “Free Bird.” And, as Jerry would say, “It’s all good.”
