May 28, 1934 – July 12, 2025
Jerry Lynn Robins passed away on July 12,2025 at home surrounded by his wife Linda and kids Gina and Kevin.
He was born on May 28,1934 in Hoxie Arkansas to Clay and Eula Robins. He was the oldest child with 4 brothers and one sister.
He was drafted into the Army where he met Acmon Abbott at boot camp. Acmon and his wife Esther became lifelong friends.
Jerry moved to Kansas city Missouri and worked for General Motors Leeds assembly plant for 30 years. He met and married Linda in 1963 and they were happily married for 61 years. He retired at 55 and spent the next 30 years as a marshall at Royal Oaks and playing golf. He enjoyed card nights with friends and family and always looked forward to the annual fishing trip with his brothers. He spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to Nashville, Tn to spend time with his daughter, grandsons, and recently his great grandson.
He was predeceased by His mom and dad, sister Gloria and brother Larry.
He is survived by his wife Linda of Kansas city Missouri; daughter Gina Clemmons of Burns, Tennessee; son Kevin of Kansas city Missouri; grandsons, Cody Tollison(Kat) of Fairview TN ; and Tanner Tollison of Burns Tn; Great grandson Walker( Cody and Kat) ;Brothers Ted, James, and Dennis and so many brothers in laws and sisters in laws; nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered as a kind, soft spoken man with a surprising wit who dedicated his life to his wife and family.
He was his families rock and back bone and will be greatly missed.
