Jerry A. Schacht, Jr. 64 of Alexandria passed from this life on November 18, 2025, at his residence after a sudden illness.
Jerry was born in Anderson, Indiana on July 24, 1961, and was the son of Jerry A. and Donna (Odom) Schacht, Sr.
For several years, before his retirement, Jerry was a butcher at Harvest Market, Alexandria.
Jerry proudly served his country with the United States Army.
He is survived by his brother, David Schacht of Inglewood, FL and his sister, Angela (Alex) Granados of Fishers, IN. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry A. and Donna Schacht, Sr.and his sister-in-law, Susan Schacht.
There are no services planned at this time. A celebration of life will be held later.
