Jerry A. Sinagra Sr.

Jerry A. Sinagra, Sr., 82, of Gillette, NJ and Marco Island, FL passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
The visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ on Friday, Feb. 14th, from 4 – 8 PM. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ on Saturday, Feb. 15th, at 10 AM followed by the entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ.
Jerry was born in Summit, NJ, the son of the late Jennie (nee Bisconti) and Anthony Sinagra. He was raised in Chatham, NJ and 57 years ago moved to Gillette, NJ, where he and his loving wife Mary raised their family. He made Marco Island, FL his winter home in 1995 where he enjoyed boating and warm weather.
Jerry was the owner and operator of Jerry A. Sinagra Landscaping & Nursery in Gillette, NJ from 1974 until his retirement in 2020, at which time he handed the business over to his son.
Jerry had a passion for classic cars and found great joy in showing his 1956 Ford Thunderbird, for which he won many awards. He also enjoyed riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycles for many years.
Jerry is lovingly remembered for his kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Mary Sinagra (nee Leone) of Gillette; his loving children, Jerry A. Sinagra, Jr. and his wife Karen of Whitehouse Station, Donna Abarca and her husband Carlos of Annandale, Jenine Kastner and her husband Eric of Lopatcong, and Maryann Reilly and her husband William of Union Township; and his cherished grandchildren, Adam, Grant, Miranda, Kevin, Lia, and Reya.
