Loomis Family Funeral Home - ApopkaIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Francis Sullivan, a loving husband, proud father, and genuine friend who left us on September 19, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Orlando, Florida on May 27, 1950, to the late John and Feraldine Sullivan.
A standout football player at Colonial High School, Jerry wore his football jersey #74 with pride and carried the spirit of teamwork into all aspects of his life. After graduating, he pursued further education at Valencia College, where he joined the PKO fraternity and built lifelong friendships.
In the early 1970s, Jerry channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into founding Steamatic of Central Florida. His hard work and dedication turned this business into a beloved local staple, and the business continues to thrive today.
Jerry had a zest for life and a love for the great outdoors. He spent countless blissful hours in the Florida Keys, diving into the ocean’s depths, pursuing lobster, and enjoying the thrill of spear fishing. Back at home, he could often be found riding his bike around the neighborhood or perfecting his immaculate yard and cherished plants.
A proud Catholic, Jerry's life was marked by his determination, love for adventure, and appreciation for simple joys. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his warm spirit and generous heart.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Linda, his daughter, Kimberley (Jim) LaTremouille, his brothers, Jack (Ivonne) Sullivan and Patrick (Sandy) Sullivan, sister Kathleen (Jim) Bliss, sister Mary Sullivan -Lindsay, stepchildren Tammy, Tracy, and Billy Thomas, and his adored grandchildren Van, Brayden, and Kelbi, along with great-grandchildren Caliah and Itzel Sullivan.
Jerry was predeceased by his brother Billy Sullivan.
The family invites friends to join them for a gathering at Loomis Fellowship Hall on October 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM. Let’s come together to share stories, laughter, and memories in honor of a truly remarkable man.
Rest in peace, Jerry. Your spirit will be with us always.
