Jesse Faith Harmon

Jesse Faith Harmon, 18, was born on March 22, 2004, in Beaumont, TX into an amazing, loving family and went to her eternal home on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, just hours after receiving her high school diploma.
In this life, Jesse was free-spirited, fearless, loyal, and little bit feisty. She was and will forever be, the light of her family s life. Growing up, Jesse loved to spend time outside running around barefoot and playing with her brothers. She was a born performer and incredibly athletic. She loved dancing, singing, jumping on her trampoline, and swimming in her pool any chance she got. At a young age of 4, her Maw Maw Dale enrolled her in dance class and she never looked back.
Jesse was a great student who no doubt left a lasting impression on all of her teachers and coaches throughout the years. During her four years at Sulphur High School, Jesse spent her days cracking jokes with her friends, working hard to succeed in the classroom, and representing her school as a SHS Twister, where she was able to showcase her love of dance. She spent endless hours at practice with her team where she was a special teammate that kept everyone accountable while making them laugh like no one else could. During her time as a Twister, Jesse danced under many Friday Night Lights, was a member of the 2021 Large Varsity Pom State Championship team, was a 2021 UDA All-American Dancer, and as a senior, led her team to becoming a nationally ranked large varsity jazz team. Inside and outside of the dance team, Jesse was known for her loyalty to those she loved most. If you were looking for an honest, dependable, selfless friend, Jesse was your girl.
At home, Jesse was the daughter and sister that kept the light shining every day. Whether she was giving you a big hug or wrestling you on the floor, she made her love for her family known. She was the perfect amount of delicate for the role of little sister, and just the right amount of brave for her role as big sister. She had a special bond with her little sister, Xena, who admired and looked up to her sissy .
After graduation, Jesse had big plans to take on the world with Jas and start their new adventure together. Jesse s desire to take care of others was leading her to pursue a career as a dentist with a minor in Spanish and work for her Uncle Vic in Houston.
Those left cherish her memory are her parents, Ginger Simon and John Simon and Chad Harmon; siblings, Tristan Simon, Ashton Kibodeaux, Tanner Simon, Gavin Kibodeaux, and Xena Harmon; grandparents, Nally and Karo Simon and Harvey McCraw; numerous loving cousins, aunts and uncles, Karen and Chung Rutter, Robbie and Mary Henry, Melanie and Mike Pinder, Jeremy and Lisa Henry, and Shawn, Christine McCraw, Steph and Chad Dartez, and Missy and Lee Guidry; and girlfriend, Ja Liyah (jas) Semien.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Maw Maw Dale and Robert and Loretta Henry.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, May 27, 2022, at Houston River Baptist Church under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Houston River Baptist Church. Visitation will resume from 9:00 AM until time of services on Friday at the Church. Cremation will follow services.
