The Man, The Myth, The Legend Jesse Johnson sadly passed away on Saturday November 25th, 2023, at the rockin' age of 58.
He was a skilled flooring contractor and ran his own business, Jesse Johnson Floor Covering, that he was proud of. Jesse is best known for his amazing song writing skills, musical talent, and love for music. You would always catch him strumming on his guitar, singing melodies, and writing new songs. He was also a talented artist who enjoyed drawing and sketching. He never gave up on his dream of becoming a rock star. Jesse was brought up as a Jehovah Witness and was knowledgeable about the Bible as he read it front to back countless of times. He had a close relationship with Jehovah, God. He loved with all his heart and was always willing to give his shirt off his back for anyone in need. At a young age, he loved hitchhiking around to play his music for anyone who cared to listen, building up a fanbase. He lived his life on the road, traveling wherever the wind blew him and would stop to feel the breeze and to jam out to his guitar and sing as loud as he could with the world around him.
Jesse loved nothing more than his family. Jesse is survived by his mother, Patricia Johnson; wife, Denett Johnson; daughters- Calla Johnson, Victoria Johnson, and Melody Rochester; stepsons- Christopher Tharp, Jonathan Frazier, and Brandon Dixon; grandchildren- Rhyder Leksan, Leo Bolterman, Henry Bolterman, Siera Tharp, Jonathan Tharp, Auriella Dixon, Thomas Frazier II, Abigail Frazier, Jonathan Frazier II, and Mosiah Frazier.
Celebration of life service will be held on Sunday December 17, 2023, at 10 am at Area 1 in Waller Park, 3107 Orcutt Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93455, United States. I encourage if you're a musician to bring your instruments (must be acoustic) to jam to, photos and all the stories to share!
