Elder Jesse Lewis Moreland

Elder Jesse Lewis Moreland went home to be with the lord at the age of 80 following a brief illness on Friday, August 23, 2024. He was born on March 9th, 1944, in Zebuline, Ga to the late William and Tina Moreland. He devoted his life to the Lord at the age of 26 and remained a faithful servant. He was married to Charlie Mae Moreland and together they had 8 children, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jesse enjoyed singing, cars, mentoring, counseling, and preaching the word of God. He was known for his love for people and his passion for fashion. Jesse was a man who understood the value of having a good name; his integrity shined. Elder Moreland enjoyed watching boxing, NASCAR, and wrestling. Elder Moreland leaves his cherished memories to his children Pauline, Debra, Sylvester, Lawrence, Cokie, Cedric, Amber, and Angie. Elder Moreland leaves behind a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and lifelong friendships.
