I met Eld Moreland and Sis Moreland at Mt Zion COGIC years ago when their and my children were growing up. He already knew my husband Shorty as everyone called him and they were good friends. Our children were in many activities at church. I taught them in Sunshine Band. And their mother assisted with Sunshine Band and always made sure they were there. Both Jesse and Charlie were dear friends and fellow worshipers with me and my husband for years. I enjoyed their worship and our time together at church and Eld Moreland´s singing, preaching, and suits. At that time my husband was not attending church regularly and Eld Moreland would always visit him at our home and encourage my husband to come to church. His and other friends´ visits did encourage my husband. And before my husband passed he was saved and an every Sunday church goer! Thank you Eld Moreland! God bless, encourage, and comfort you Children. Your Dad and Mom were the sweetest Christian couple. The highest tribute you all can pay them is to make sure your life is rooted and grounded in Jesus! I won´t be able to attend the services because I don´t drive anymore, but I have sent my prayers.
