Jessica Christine Davies was born to Anita (Woodworth) and Leslie R. Davies in Boston on July 4, 1964.

Jessie went to live at the Fernald Developmental Center in Waltham at the age of five. In 2009, Jessie took up residence at the Wrentham Developmental Center and became a beloved companion in Ewalt Building's Apartment 1.

Jessie radiated kindness and peace, but her friends knew that she had a dramatic flair at times. Jessie demonstrated her keen observational skills by waving her arms and giving meaningful looks when things were not as she preferred. Sometimes Jessie's sense of humor would come out in her special way of communicating. Fashion was also Jessie's forte; she liked to dress up and she knew when she was looking stylish.

Despite an incredible level of resilience in overcoming multiple life and health challenges, Jessica departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her friends, on September 18, 2025.

She is predeceased by her mother and sister, Cheryl Davies. Jessie leaves behind her caring brother and guardian, Bradford Davies, as well as her many friends from the Fernald and Wrentham Developmental Center communities. Our lives are richer for having known Jessie.

Family and friends are welcome to gather and celebrate Jessie's life to remember the love and friendship she shared with so many others in her lifetime at a Funeral Service at the Wrentham Developmental Center, 131 Emerald Street, WRENTHAM on Wednesday afternoon October 1st at 1:00PM. Burial will follow at Wrentham Center Cemetery.
