'When Jessica rolled into a room, she brought a party. Her confidence lit the way, her beauty and elegant sartorial choices dazzled, and her sense of humor set everyone at ease.
It would be a mistake to think of her only as a party though-to read her writing was to be awestruck by her wisdom, intelligence, and power. To see her art was to be moved by her perception of the world. She was as clear eyed and well spoken as any author, capable as any artist, and as astute as any academic.
When Jess left us and strolled over to the other side, she carried all the important things from this world into the next.
Her confidence brightened the already sunny skies, her beauty rivaled even the most glorious of angels, and as for her sartorial choices-well, we are pretty sure her pure white outfit will soon be bedazzled.
But there was probably a hush of respect for her, because Jessica captured so many things in her life on earth that most of us cannot hope to take with us when we go:
Wisdom, intelligence, grace, power, artistry, faith, kindness, sheer will. The heavens probably stopped their work and their busyness, to pause long enough to say "there goes a noble soul."
We imagine that everyone paused to see her walk past, trailing glory, and into the arms of her Heavenly Parents' embrace. There were definitely tears of joy.
And then, we are sure that someone dropped a beat and the dancing began."

Friend of the Family
Jessica Janeil Frischknecht passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024. She was born in Orem, Utah to Janis Cordon Frischknecht and Neil Frischknecht. Jessica spent her life enriching the lives of everyone around her.
Jessica's kind heart and wild spirit were evident from the start when she diffused awkward moments with humor: "Are you staring at me because you think I'm cute?" and "Does this wheelchair make my butt look big?"
Her own life experience led her to become a passionate advocate for people with challenges of all kinds. She encouraged everyone to step(or roll) outside of themselves and take risks.
Jessica graduated from Timpview High School in
Provo, Utah. She went on to study graphic design at Brigham Young University(4.0 GPA). She painted, traveled, bowled, fished, and could plan a great party. Mostly, she loved being with friends and family.
She had an eye for fashion, loved design and decorating which led her to become an entrepreneur; she started many businesses including Wheelstyle, Crazydaizy Design, and Shattering Boundaries. She leapt into her passions with her motto "BE BRAVE" as her cry.
Jessica loved her nieces and nephews; she showed her love with rides on her wheelchair, gifts, time with them, and a listening and supportive ear. She will most certainly continue to support them from the other side. They will always love her.
Jessica's social media accounts provided her with connections to friends from across the world. She loved her social media pals. She will be sorely missed by many and her spunky and mischievous personality will never be forgotten.
We want to give special thanks to Janis Frischknecht, her angel mother. Janis has set an example of sacrifice, care, compassion, and dedication. Jessica was grateful for the many nurses, doctors, and caretakers that have cared for her over the 42 years of her life.
Her family would like to extend thanks to Jill Hansen, her devoted home health nurse for the last 14 years.
Finally, thank you to Lindsay Holmes, her fashionista aficionado, friend, and personal confidant who made all of Jessica's makeup, hair, and glamor dreams come true.
Jessica is preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Hazel Cordon and Neil C. and Barbara Frischknecht. Her Aunt Cynthia Frischknecht, Uncle Kurt Frischknecht, and Aunt Yvonne Cordon.
She is survived by her parents, Janis Frischknecht, Neil (Judy) Frischknecht; siblings, Jason (Amy) Frischknecht, Melissa (Ben) Ward, and Parker (Jessica) Frischknecht. As well as her beloved nieces and nephews, Ella, Ava, Elijah, and Hazel Ward, Payton and Conrad Frischknecht, and Charlotte Frischknecht.
