Ms. Jessica Ann Lachowski, age 42, passed away on April 14, 2025.
Jessica was a true light and a solid voice of guidance for everyone she was around. She was wise beyond her years and always made kids comfortable being kids. She treated all of them as if they were her own and they loved GaGa. She lit up every room that she walked into and always made everyone laugh. Her laugh was contagious, infectious, and unforgettable. Loud and boisterous, never apologetic. Bold, courageous, and stubborn and hardheaded. You could never make her do anything that she didn't want to do. But she was so easy to love, and she gave more love to people than anything else.
She always loved to work at any job she had, including her many years at McDonalds in various Massillon locations. She was last employed at FedEx and loved her job so much that she tried to recruit people to work with her and wanted to be working up until the last minute.
In her down time, she was frequently crafting or painting, with Christmas being the most magical time. She put her all in to making the best celebrations for her chosen family. She also had interests in astrology, horoscopes, crystals and tarot reading. Oh, and Euchre. That can never be left out. She was always ready with a deck.
Jessica was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Marie, and her father, Robert Lachowski, Grandparents Anne and Frank Casalinuovo, Sr.
Survived by her beautiful fur babies Maple, Coco and Honey; sister Jenna Heltzel (Craig Augustine) and her brother Steven (Kathy) Casalinuovo; nieces and nephews Khari, Morrigan and Ryan. She also had her family Theresa and Chad Smith, Nathaniel Richeson, Destiny Richeson, Sebastian Sutton, Renny Pride, and their children. Also, her chosen family, an amazing group of friends, Cassie Watson, Amanda Buckhannon. Jaime Britton and Nikki Knight and a host of others.
Jessica did not want any type of remembrance service. She asks that you celebrate her life in your own way. Burn it, create it, turn it up loud. Just keep living your best life.
In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to your local Foster Care agency, to help more kids be kids.
A huge appreciation going out to the staff of Aultman Woodlawn in the Compassionate Care Center. They handled Jessica's care with the utmost respect and high skill levels.
