Jessica Lynn "Jessie" Sowell, 45, of Fairview passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her home. Born October 31, 1978 in Donaldsonville, GA, she was the daughter of Tinette Lynn Carliss and Roy lee Sowell, and raised by Tinette Lynn Carliss and Kent Sheldon Carliss, step parents include Kent Carliss and Debbie Sowell, She enjoyed a good vanilla bean Dunkin iced coffee, music, animals of all kind, especially dogs and spending time with her family, friends and husband. She is preceded in death by her step-father, Kent Carliss. Surviving are her children; Colby Kent Carliss and Tinette Ann Marie Mullen, both of Fairview, NC; husband of many years, Joe Stanley; siblings, Sophia Underwood, Amanda Goodwin, Eric Register, Brett Carliss, and Trey Register; and additional family members, Harley Underwood, Gavin Goodwin, Eliee Register, Lance Carliss, and Hannah Carliss. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2023 at 2:00 at the address of 2 Laura Jackson Rd, Fairview, NC 28730.
