Mr. Jessie Martin, age 49, a resident of Ludlow passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held 5-8pm Friday, August 10, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Services will be held 11am Saturday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.
Jessie was born in Scott County on April 10, 1969. He loved to be outdoors hunting, fishing and riding his side by side. Jessie was a member of the Do-Rite Hunting Club. He loved his family very much and picking on his grandchildren was something that he enjoyed. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mackie B. Martin and Pauline Parker Martin and brother, Michael Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Martin of Ludlow; children, Paula Carbaugh (Philip) of PA and Devin Martin (Jennifer) of Morton; step children, Michael Renfrow of Forkville and Angie Yates of Ridgeland; sister, Brenda Martin Scarberry of Pelahatchie; brother, Frank Martin (Susan) of Pelahatchie; 11 grandchildren, Penelope, Phoenix and PJ Carbaugh, Garret and Wyatt Martin, Bethany, Lacala, Brandon and Macie Renfrow, J.T. and Kelly Yates and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Colen Smith, Brandon Renfrow, Carl Scarberry, Steven Scarberry, Rusty Porter, Michael Renfrow and Jason Weaver.
