Jesus Molina Saenz, 61, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025. A funeral mass will be held at 10am, Friday, October 17, 2025, at St Thomas the Apostle Catholic church. The family will receive friends for a visitation and rosary from 4-7pm on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at LaGrone Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors Coulter road chapel.
Jesus Saenz was born on October 15, 1963, in Mexico to Maria Saenz. He grew up in Rancho Las Adjuntas Huejotitan, Chihuahua, Mexico, before immigrating to the United States at the age of 10. His family first settled in New Mexico, then Denver, and Johnson City, Kansas before making their home in Amarillo, Texas.
In 1981, Jesus married the love of his life, Olga Molina, and together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage.
Jesus had a deep passion for music and enjoyed playing the guitar, accordion, and piano. He also loved the ranching life—caring for his horses, cows, goats, pigs, and his beloved dogs brought him great joy. Known for his lively spirit, Jesus was always dancing, telling jokes, and bringing laughter to those around him.
A devoted and tireless worker, Jesus faced every challenge with determination and strength. Not even illness or injury could keep him from working hard and providing for his family. He will be remembered for his joyful heart, strong work ethic, and unwavering love for those he held dear.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife, Olga Molina; his children, Jesus Molina, Orlando Molina and Maria Molina; his mother, Maria Saenz and his grandchildren, Laryxa Gonzalez and Larrimy Gonzalez.
