Kathleen, GA – Jett Daniel Pierce, infant son of Jacob and Anabelle (Scott) Pierce, was gently ushered into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA. Though his time with us was brief, we were blessed with 232 days of pure joy, and his impact on his family was profound and everlasting.
Jett was named for his quickness, toughness, and the bright future that awaited him. He was destined to excel in all things-his family envisioned him as a Heisman-winning athlete, a Cy Young award-winning pitcher, a Mossy Oak hunter, and an MMA champion. Above all, he will always be remembered as a beloved son, brother, and cherished family member whose presence will be missed beyond measure.
A service to celebrate Jett's life will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory, with a private interment following at the Pierce Family Cemetery in Unadilla, GA. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Dr. Jim Perdue will be officiating the service.
Jett is survived by his loving parents, Jacob and Anabelle Pierce; his sister, Lenley Marie Pierce; paternal grandparents, Darin and April (Edenfield) Pierce; maternal grandparents, Jody and Angela (Morton) Scott; aunts, Makayla Hurst, Jordan Statzer, Allie Pierce, and Presleigh Hortman; uncles, Dylan Pierce, Jarret Pierce, Tyler Statzer, and Eddie Hurst; cousins, Warren, Roman, Ezekiel, Selah, and Knox; paternal great-grandparents, Billy and Charlotte Edenfield; maternal great-grandparents, Madelyn Scott, Edward and Rhoda Morton; as well as several great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jett was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Harold and Lydia Pierce; maternal great-grandfather, Downs Scott; great-aunts, Lina Edenfield, and Jennifer Pierce; great uncle, Ed Pierce, and cousin, Ivy Statzer.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jett has forever left his mark on the hearts of those who loved him. We find comfort in knowing that he is now part of the heavenly all-star team, patiently waiting for us to join him.
