Jim Pressley Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 13, 2025.
Jim Pressley passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Known for his kind soul and deep devotion to those he loved, Jim brought warmth and joy to everyone around him. He found happiness in simple pleasures-playing with his grandchildren, fishing, traveling in his motorhome, and exploring new places on vacation.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Jim carried a lifelong passion for all things mechanical, from restoring classic cars to working on speed boats. He owned and operated Corvettes by Pressley for 35 years, where his craftsmanship and love for performance vehicles left a lasting mark. In his earlier years, Jim raced Corvettes at Green Valley Raceway, combining his love for speed and engineering with a competitive spirit that never faded. He was a lifetime member of Cowtown Vettes, where he served on the board and contributed to the Corvette community with dedication and pride. Jim was also an active member of the Jeep Club, where he enjoyed off-road adventures and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts.

Jim's positive outlook on life and generous spirit made him a source of strength and support to many. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and share a smile.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Kellie Pressley; his children, David Pressley, Jennifer Jean, Cassidy MacPhail, and Ashley Christian; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Honoring Jim's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. The family deeply appreciates your kind words, thoughts, and prayers during this time.

All services for Jim will be private.
