Jimmy Dale Cupples died on January 12, 2023, after a long struggle with COPD and congestive heart failure. Jimmy was the son of Tillman and Eunice (Dodd) Cupples, born in Hughes, Arkansas on October 25, 1948. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Terry (Fowler) Cupples, and two sisters, Shirley Cupples and Sue Cupples. He is survived by his second wife Debbie Cupples of Salesville, Arkansas, his two children, Bryon Cupples (Amy) of West Memphis, Arkansas, Tara Goche (Chad) of Bettendorf, Iowa, and his bonus daughter hannah draper (Eric Edwards) of Brussels, Belgium. He is also survived by two sisters, Alice Kattas and Kathy Masner. Jimmy had seven beloved grandchildren: Mallory Cupples, AbbyClare Goche, Mason Goche, Madison Cupples, Jacob Cupples, Charlie Edwards, and Sam Edwards.
Jimmy was well known for his big heart, generosity, southern cooking and fierce personality. For more than 40 years, Jimmy was known as one of the best Case IH tractor salesmen in the area, and he is still a popular name in the farming community. Many who knew Jimmy also knew him for his equal shares of love and disappointment in the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was a loving father for many years, to more than just his own children, as many still call him Daddy Cupples. This continued as he became a PawPaw, sharing many laughs and happy memories with his grandchildren. Along with Jimmy's beautiful soul, his legacy will continue to live on every day.
In lieu of flowers, Jimmy requested contributions to the West Memphis Animal Shelter, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Planned Parenthood, or the charity of your choice. He also asked that if you or your loved ones smoke, please seek help to stop this destructive habit. Jimmy Dale Cupples was a hero to many, and we ask that everyone continues to remember the grace that he blessed this earth with. Finally, the next time the Arkansas Razorbacks lose a game they should have won, please curse creatively in Jimmy's memory. Services are private.

JImmy was my brother in law and extremely dedicated to his family and was a hard working man. HIs friendly personality saw no stranger as he could talk to anyone on any level. I will never forget him fixing barbeque shrimp for special family gatherings. God bless you Jimmy. And God bless Bryon and Tara and their families.
All my love, Coni.

The "WARRIOR" can now rest in peace. And a warrior he was !!! Such a dedicated employee and manager for Heartland Equipment. No one could handle the large farm accounts along with the large contractors like Jim. During the heyday of the large scraper project, he was the man. And he was the man with large and small farmers alike throughout his career. Jim lived and worked in a relentless pursuit to take care of his customers and his company. We miss you and love you. Heartland family.
