Born on August 19, 1943, in Seguin, Texas, he lived in Grand Prairie, Texas and retired 20 years ago. Jimmy served as Worshipful Master for both Sam R. Hamilton and Thomas B. Hunter lodges. He was also a member of the York Rite, Scottish Rite and Hella Shrine. He was a Methodist. He graduated from Dallas Baptist University with his bachelor's degree. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam war era and joined the Texas Air National Guard in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was honorably discharged from both.
Survivors include his wife Rose Marie Luna, his Stepson Ray C. Hernandez and (wife) Cynthia Hernandez, his daughter Anjanette Leonard, Granddaughters Patience Pearce, Sophia Rose Hernandez, Grandsons Samuel Luna, George Ray Hernandez., He is preceded in death by his son Michael Andrew Luna.
There will be a short service (date is unknown). Interment will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
