COLE, Jo Ann (Sisco) – of Flint, MI, age 71, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024. Private Services were held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, in Jo Ann's memory.
Jo Ann was born in Flint, MI on June 27, 1953, daughter of the late Frank and Velma (Beardslee) Sisco. She married the love of her life, Billy Cole, on January 31, 1974, in Flint, MI, embarking on a journey of love and partnership that spanned decades. Jo Ann's life was adorned with simple joys that brought her immense happiness. Her greatest joy in life was nurturing her grandchildren, tending to her vibrant flower garden, and escaping to her cherished cabin in West Branch, MI. Her loyal companion, Bentley, the beloved family puppy, was a constant source of joy and comfort. Known for her boundless generosity, unwavering love, and remarkable selflessness, Jo Ann touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness and compassion were felt by family and friends. In our hearts, Jo Ann was the matriarch of the family and will forever remain a beacon of warmth and love, her legacy enduring through the memories she created and the lives she enriched. Though she is no longer with us, Jo Ann's spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. May she rest in peace, forever remembered and deeply missed.
Jo Ann is survived by her husband of 50 years, Billy Cole; 2 children, Raymond (Teresa Schulz) Cole and Brian Cole; 9 grandchildren, Tyler Cole, Siarah Cole, Bryce Cole, Raymond Cole II, Priscilla Cole, Billy Cole II, Emma Aumick, Alex Aumick and Maverick Daup; 3 siblings, Duane Sisco, Jim Sisco and Wendy Finn; 2 former daughters-in-law, Shawn Cole and Misty Daup; canine companion, Bentley; many other loving family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Sisco Sr. and Velma Finn; 2 siblings, Frank Sisco Jr. and Sandy Finn.
