Jo Anne Hedger

Jo Anne Hedger, 60, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away on March 3, 2026, after a courageous battle with Esophageal and Stomach cancer.

Jo Anne was born on October 29, 1965, in North Madison, Ohio, to Frank and Frances Holler. She graduated from Auburn Career Center, where she studied cosmetology, and went on to build a career doing what she loved most-making others feel beautiful and cared for. Jo Anne worked as a hairstylist at Jennifer and Company for more than 25 years, where she formed lasting friendships with both coworkers and clients.

On November 12, 1987, she married the love of her life, Ernie Hedger. Together they built a life centered on family, love, and laughter.

Jo Anne had a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. She loved art, music, nature, and spending time outdoors. She also enjoyed relaxing naps and cherished time with her soul dog, Kimber.

She is survived by her husband, Ernie Hedger; her children, Katherine Hedger, Francesca Hedger (Rosie), and Sean Hedger; her fur-children, Kimber, Olive, Pua, and Owen; her fur-grandchildren, Paxton and Crowley; and her siblings, Don Holler, Cynthia Owens, and Patrick Holler.

Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Frances Holler.

Those who knew Jo Anne will remember her for her kindness, warmth, and the love she shared so freely. She was the best mom and wife ever and touched the lives of everyone around her and will be greatly missed.

A private celebration of Jo Anne's life will be held by her family.

A reception will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Penitentiary Glen, 8668 Kirtland Chardon Rd, Kirtland, OH 44094, from 5:30pm-9:00pm.
