Cynthia "Cindy" Rosier, age 64 of Geneva, OH, passed away at Geneva Medical Center the morning of Sunday, June 15, 2025, with the love of her family surrounding her.
Cindy was born on March 5, 1961, to the late James and Maryann Merriman. Cindy grew up in Perry, OH, and was a graduate of Perry High School in 1980. She met her husband William "Frank" and were married in 1980. Cindy later went on and obtained her Cosmetology degree from Auburn Career Center. Cindy and Frank welcomed three sons; Franklin in 1983, James in 1984, and Bradley in 1987.
Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Cindy was a woman who was always willing and ready to help anyone in need. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She would give you the shirt off her back if she could. She was extremely proud to be a grandma and even prouder when she became a great grandma. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. There was no other grandma like her.
She will forever be missed by her husband of 44 years, Frank; children, Franklin (Agnes), James (April), and Bradley; Grandchildren, Nicholas, Jesseca, Isabella, Matthew, Anthony, Vincent, Chloe, Akira, Sophia, Michael, and Kylee; one great grandson, Jackson; Sisters, Joan and Wendy; Nephews, Randall (Angie) and Paul; great nieces and nephews, Hailey, Gabby, Maddie, Colton, and Axel; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
Cindy is proceeded in death by her parents, James and Maryann Merriman; and brother-in-law, Randy Alley. A Celebration of Cindy's Life will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 1pm-5pm at The Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #2243, 120 Depot Street, Geneva, Oh 44041. As per Cindy's wishes, there will be no burial or funeral services. Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services assisted the family with the arrangements, 1500 Harpersfield Rd., Geneva, OH., 44041. www.lakeeriecrematory.com 440-361-2273.
