Jo Ann Langley

Jo Ann Langley, age 88, a resident of Haworth, Oklahoma died Monday, January 6, 2025, at her home.
She was born on April 20, 1936, in Troup, Texas. She was a retired cafeteria worker and a member of the Texas Food Service Assn for seven years and loved living in Texas. She was also employed at Nicholas Kusan for 17 years. She loved her animals, dogs, cats, horses, and birds. She loved fried potatoes and vacationing with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Langley was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Thomas, and Robbie Lee Holloway Hill; and her first husband, Mert Marris (Ken) Gray; three sisters, Nettie Marie Griffin, Elizabeth Fails, and Hazel Love; one daughter, Barbara Lynn Hernandez and one son, Humphrey Lewis Durrett.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Lavell Langley; one daughter, Melody Ann Gray; two sons, Patrick DeWayne Gray and wife, Sharon, and Kenneth Morris Gray; two step-daughters, Barbara Corbin and husband, Glen, and Sherry Zimmer and husband, Mark; nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
