Joan Beddow passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2024 in West Milford, New Jersey at the age of 86.
Joan was employed at Beneficial Management Corporation, where she began her career there as a Keypunch Operator, worked diligently through the ranks and retired as an Assistant Vice President.
A member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown New Jersey, she served as a Deacon there for a time. She loved everything about that church and was proud to be associated with it.
Joan thoroughly enjoyed entertaining friends and family members at her home, creating gourmet feasts and savoring gin and tonics, perfectly made. She also had a passion for orchids and they were always rewarding her care with magnificent blooms. Photography was another one of her joyful interests.
Joan was predeceased by her husband, Robert Joseph Beddow, and her son, Jeffrey Robert Beddow.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Carol LoMauro and Robert Patrick LoMauro of Sparta, New Jersey, several nieces and nephews, as well as great friends whom she considered family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her celebration of life on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown. Burial of ashes will be held at a later date.
In Joan's memory, please kindly consider a donation to Father John's Animal House, 50 Father John's Lane, Lafayette, New Jersey 07848. This would make her extremely happy!
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High Street Hackettstown NJ 07840. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.cochranfuneral.com
