Joan Conner Obituary
Joan worked in HR at ProMedica for many years, prior to that she worked at Owens Illinois and IBM. She was a 13-year cancer survivor. She enjoyed traveling and visiting casinos in town and on vacations. Joan was a collector of Christmas Santas and enjoyed finding new ones each year. She found the most joy in spending time with her family and friends.
Along with her husband of 41 years, Rick, Joan is survived by her daughter Michelle Conner, brothers Jim (Nancy) Vehslage and Ken (Beth) Vehslage, sister Wendy (Porter) Wilkins, father-in-law Terry Conner, sister-in-law Jennifer Conner, brother-in-law Craig (Roxanna) Conner, 4 nephews, 10 nieces and 9 great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents Warren and Jean Vehslage and mother-in-law Martha Conner.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 24, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 6603 Providence St. Whitehouse, Ohio 43571. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to the Cancer Society of Northwest Ohio.
