Joan S. DeGrushe

JOAN S. DeGRUSHE, 89, of Jackson Twp., NJ, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and resided in Staten Island, NY, prior to settling in Jackson Twp.

Joan was employed in client services for Quest Laboratories, Dongan Hills, Staten Island, NY, prior to her retirement.

She was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson Twp., NJ.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Erena Codraro; by her husband, George in 2015; and by her sister, Anne Papaleo. She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Young and her husband, Jay, Joan George and her husband, Eric, and Barbara Cirnigliaro and her husband, Salvatore; her 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation from 8-9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. Her Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Jackson, NJ.
