Joan Dickson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, Inc. - New Rochelle on Dec. 26, 2025.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Helen (Melnick) Dickson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy that will live on through the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her devoted husband James Dickson, her five children, Kevin, Keith, Kerri, Donald, Mary Kate and her eight grandchildren, Victoria, Declan, Bridget, Ethan, Brenden, Jacob, Jasmine and Lily, all of whom were the center of her world. Along with her sister in law, Linda Melnick and her nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her mother and father Anna and Anthony Melnick and her brother Joseph Melnick. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she poured her heart into loving, supporting, and protecting them every day.
She was known for her loving nature, infectious humor, and charismatic personality. She had a way of lighting up a room with her laughter and making everyone feel welcome, seen, and cared for. Her strength, warmth, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her.
Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love passed down through generations. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Joan, please visit our floral store.
