Lincoln – Joan "Patsy" (Philbin) Giusti, 94, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Emilio Giusti. Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late John and Hermine (Blanchette) Philbin.
Patsy graduated from the former Sacred Heart, Pawtucket, and was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph Church, Pawtucket. She worked as a seamstress at the former Standard Romper, Pawtucket, prior to working as a secretary at the former Memorial Hospital. Patsy concluded her career working as a bookkeeper for the former family business, Giusti & Sons Construction. Patsy was fun-loving - always up for a party, a card game, a night at the casino or out dancing. She especially loved music and could often be found watching old musicals and singing her favorite songs. She had a contagious laugh and made friends wherever she went.
She is survived by two sisters, Lillian Leonard of Cumberland and Lois Holland of Pawtucket; one brother-in-law, Brian Barry of Smithfield and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Barry and Paul, Terrance and Gerald Philbin.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, July 17th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church of Holy Family Parish, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Interment with her late husband will follow at Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation and floral tributes are respectfully omitted. Memorial donations to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061 would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences welcomed at www.trippfuneralhome.com
