Joan Carol Hern

Carol Hern passed away at home on 8/11/2025. She worked in the education field for 28 years. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, trying her luck at local casinos, taking drives and playing cards / games. She was at her happiest when spending time with family and close friends. She is survived by her son Jerry Hern (Terri) and granddaughter Lauren of Sheridan, son-in-law Kenneth Clark of Yuba City, grandsons Jacob Hern of Sutter, Casey Hayes of Marysville and Daniel Hayes of Australia. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Hern Sr., daughters Lori Hayes of Marysville and Michele Clark of Yuba City, parents Marvin and Oleta Tull of Marysville, sisters Patricia Rice of Wheatland and Marlene Haddox of Sheridan. A graveside service will be held at the Wheatland Cemetery, 4865 Wheatland Road in Wheatland on Friday, 9/12/2025 at 11am.
