Joan (Magdalinski) Kucewicz passed away peacefully in her home in Phoenixville, PA on March 17th, 2023 at the age of 60. She is survived by her three children, Leo, Chris, and Corinne; her mother, Nancy; her six siblings, Tony, Ann, Stephen, Sandy, Suzy, Charlie and their spouses; 17 nieces and nephews, 2 great-nieces, and 1 great-nephew.
After graduating Summa Cum Laude from King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, she began her almost 40-year career in the medical software field, moving between numerous companies including Shared Medical Systems (SMS), Wyeth, Siemens, Cerner, and Oracle. The most important thing in her life was her children, having supported them in both their setbacks and successes, for which they are eternally grateful. Though she didn't have much of it, in her free time she enjoyed reading, gardening, and using her creativity for home improvement.
A Celebration of Joan's Life will take place on Friday, March 31st, 2023 at 3pm at Loch Aerie Mansion, 700 Lancaster Pike, Malvern, PA 19355. As Joan took much pride in her style, cheerful dress is acceptable. No RSVP needed. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Medical Oncology Prescription Assistance Fund, 382 Pierce St., Kingston, PA 18704. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Phoenixville, PA. Condolences may be offered online by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneral Home.com.
