BAZETTA- Joan Lois Kumher, 92, passed away on March 11, 2025, at the Windsor House of Champion in Warren, OH.
Born March 18, 1932, in Kinsman, OH, she was the daughter of the late Eugene G. and Louise G. (Mizner) Wall and graduated from the former Gustavus High School. On October 11, 1950, she married her beloved husband, John Kumher. At the time of his passing in 2006, they had been married for 56 years.
Mrs. Kumher was employed by Cortland Elementary School and then Lakeview High School which she was a cook for 28 years. Her hobbies included reading and visiting her grandchildren and family.
Left to cherish her memory is her three children, Larry A. (Pam) Kumher, Stephen E. Kumher, and Arlene S. (Keith) Norris; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Wall.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kumher, two sons, James and Jeffrey Kumher; granddaughter, Heather Norris; sister, Doris Gross.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 2PM-4PM at Baumgardner Funeral Home, 8569 Main St., Kinsman, OH. No formal services will be held. Burial of cremated remains will take place in Kinsman Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Affinity Care of Ohio, 2001 Crocker Rd Ste 325 West Lake, OH 44145-6978.
