She is survived by her children: Jim (Donna) Shafar of Fruitland Park, FL; Don "Donnie" (Konnie) Shafar of Tavares, FL and Peggy (Hugh) Thompson of Leesburg FL. 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Shafar and daughter Nancy Chambers.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Vitas Hospice at 6909 Old Hwy 441 Mount Dora, FL 32757. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations Home, 226 East Burleigh Boulevard, Tavares, FL 32778.
