Joan V. Tremblay, 91, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024. She was born in Lawrence, MA to Emilien and Laura (Desrosiers) Levesque. She graduated from St Joseph's High School and went on to MacIntosh School of Business, where she learned to be a bookkeeper. She married and raised her family in Methuen, MA, where she resided for 60 years, before recently moving to Windham, NH. Joan will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband Paul E. Tremblay, her sisters Rita Cormier and Agnes Rousseau and her brother Raymond Levesque. She is survived by her five children, daughter Paula Tenney of Baldwinsville, NY, sons John of Pelham, NH, Thomas of San Francisco, CA, James and his wife Karen of Methuen, MA and Peter and his wife Carla of Merrimac, MA; five grandchildren, Kyle Tremblay and his wife Kim, Matthew Tremblay and his wife Emilie, Erin Tenney, Colin Tenney and Ryan Tenney and a great granddaughter Isla Tenney.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home, 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut, A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Francis Church in Dracut, burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover. Online condolences may be shared at racicotfuneralhome.com.

Before she went home to be with the Lord, my favorite memory of my godmother, Aunt Joan, was our phone conversations. She was loving, thoughtful, kind, funny and had a sweet, gentle spirit.
