Joan Ann Zona

Joan Ann Zona (Peshek), age 83, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 7, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, Joan graduated from John Adams High School. She spent 16 years as a stay-at-home mom raising her three boys before dedicating many years to her career as an Office Manager. Her leadership and organizational skills were instrumental in helping build a successful technology company, where she was respected by colleagues and friends alike.

Joan's passions extended well beyond her professional life. She was an accomplished Bridge player, earning the title of Bridge Master, and found joy in reading, often browsing library shelves for her next book. Joan cherished attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events, productions, shows, and milestone celebrations. Her love of travel led her to visit all 50 states, creating lasting memories along the way.

As a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Joan brought warmth, kindness, and a radiant smile to everyone she met. Her greatest joy was her family, and she delighted in sharing their stories with others.

Joan is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, David; her children Gregory, Kevin (Diana), and Marc; grandchildren Cameron, Brooke, David, and Anna; her brother Robert Peshek; sisters Carol Landriscina and Linda Kuachusri (preceded in death); as well as extended family and a circle of close friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service immediately following at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Boulevard, Eastlake, Ohio.

Joan will be remembered with love and gratitude by all who knew her.
