JoAnn K. Brackett, 84, of Brownsburg, IN passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 5th, 2025. She was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 25th, 1940. She was known as a loving and devoted Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt, Friend and GG.
JoAnn graduated from Scecina Memorial High School in 1958 and later went on to work as a bookkeeper for Glidden Paint. JoAnn was extremely proud of her German heritage and loved sharing it with her family. She also enjoyed spending time at the family lake house. JoAnn displayed remarkable perseverance throughout her life and her strong will drove her to achieve anything she set her mind to.
JoAnn is survived by her son Steve (Annette) Brackett; grandchildren Kelli (Nate) Atwood and Jake Brackett; great granddaughter Sophie Atwood; brothers James (Maria) Konermann and Frank (Lori) Konermann; sister-in-law Betty Coy along with many other loving family members.
