Joann Larson

Joann Larson, 86, of Waupun, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

Joann was born September 15, 1938 in Portage, WI the daughter of Harold and Katherine Schroeder Hoppe. Joann attended Waupun schools, graduating from Waupun High School in 1957. On June 13, 1959 she was united in marriage to Larry Larson. They resided in Waupun until 1986 at which time they moved to Berlin. Joann was employed with Admanco Inc. in Ripon for 17 years from which she retired. They eventually moved back to Waupun.

Joann is survived by her husband of 65 years, Larry Larson of Waupun; a daughter, Jodi (Robert) Tank of Alto; six grandchildren: Timothy (Kelsey) Wuebben, Nathan (Kayli), Matthew (Kylie), and Nicholas (Shannie) Tank; and Bailey and Shelby Larson; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Wanda Larson; son-in-law, David Wuebben; and sister-in-law, Jill (Randy) Guenther.

Joann was preceded in death by a daughter, Lauri Wuebben; a son, Jack Larson; a brother, Ken Hoppe; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Mike Giebink officiating. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
