Joanne "Bunny" Bertoli, 89, of Santa Rosa, California, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2025. She was born on March 3, 1936, in Eureka, California, and grew up in Miranda CA, where she attended Southfork High School.
Bunny was the proud owner and operator of Bertoli House of Care in Santa Rosa, where she shared her kindness and compassion with those she cared for. She also found joy in giving back to her community, serving as Past President of the Luther Burbank Art & Garden Center. Known for her love of gardening, Bunny found great joy and peace in nurturing plants and flowers.
Bunny was preceded in death by her loving parents, Paul and Constance Bertoli; her sisters, Carole Pedersen, Paula King, and Gloria Lorenzo; and her nieces and nephew, Deborah Van Patten, Diane Cadigan, Karen Johonie, Sharon Pedersen, and Anthony Lorenzo.
She is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews: Paul (Lori) LaBlue, Darryl (Susan) LaBlue, LeDawn (Ken) Bates, Drew (Janette) LaBlue, Patrice (Tim) Hamilton, and Misty Eberhart, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Santa Rosa CA.
